Somnipax Belt - Anti-snoring belt

Snoring occurs mainly in the supine position. To prevent the supine position and thus position-related snoring, there is this anti-snoring belt. This vibrates whenever it detects the supine position and encourages the wearer to change position. More gentle than the elbow of the bed partner and, due to the habituation effect, more emphatic.

The vibration (strength individually adjustable) stops only when a change of position has been detected.

Material:
Belt: 64.0% polyamide, 22.0% elastodine, 14.0% polyester, also a small amount of latex.

Chest / abdominal circumference:
S/M/L: 70 - 100 cm
XL/XXL: 100 - 125 cm

Area of application:

• Position-dependent snoring, i.e. snoring in the supine position
• Sleep apnea that is position-dependent (obstructive sleep apnea)

Contraindications:

• Pacemaker
• Spinal complaints
• Reconvalescence after intervertebral disc surgery
• positional vertigo
• position-independent sleep apnea syndrome is present (central or mixed sleep apnea)

Attention: This product is suitable to eliminate the supine position as the cause of snoring. It does NOT replace medical therapy, e.g. for sleep apnea (breathing pauses during sleep).
