The fine dust filter filters the air before it enters the appliance. Replace the filter when it is heavily discoloured grey, but at least every 3 months.
Pull the filter holder off the appliance and remove the filter. Replace the old filter with a new one. Make sure that the black stripes of the filter are facing the appliance.
