A-V Impulse system with compressor

The system imitates the natural process of walking while the person is lying or sitting. A compression impulse squeezes the venous plexus and the blood flows upwards towards the heart.

Indications:

Contraindications:
- Severe cardiac insufficiency
- Acute existing thrombosis or pulmonary embolism
- Acute phlebitis (inflammation of the veins)
- Severe infections in the treated extremity

In case of sensory disturbances in the treated limb, close monitoring of the skin areas that come into contact with the pressure chamber of the cuff is required. The same applies to diabetes mellitus with sensory disturbances (polyneuropathy).
